- No makeup
- No deodorant
- Dirty hair
- Comfy jammies
Remember: I am home by myself all day. Obviously, I make myself presentable for when my husband gets home from work :)

Definitely the fridge.
ReplyDeleteBut, I work from home with hubby, son and two workers - so deodorant, clothing and shoes are a must. Make up - I'm too short sighted to apply it so I never wear it LOL
Pro's of working from home - very low fuel (petrol) bills, a snooze when and whenever I like (depending on income generating work load LOL), tea / snacks, etc and all day to do the chores - income generating work comes first.
I too used to wait until right before my husband got home to put makeup on but then I decided it would help me to feel better if I put a little on right away in the morning and to get dressed. It actually worked and gave me the extra little boost to get going sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started to to work from home it definitely was the availability of all the food that seemed to call out to me everytime I took a breath! I gained 10 pounds right off the bat. It took me a year to get rid of it again but with the help of getting dressed etc in the am I am back on track. Besides, my toddler keeps me too busy to even think about it! Haha.
I work from home and it has totally spoiled me--I don't think I could ever go back to a regular job. Or at least it would be very, very difficult. :) No makeup is a big plus for me. And sweatpants!
ReplyDeleteI love being able to stay home. Now muss no fuss - and I feel healthier and more relaxed too. No need to stress about what I look like. :)
ReplyDeleteLadies - thank you for your comments! Sound like some of you put on a little extra and some take it easy. Either way, I agree that sometimes, it is nice to make ourselves look nice, but it is also great to take a day off.
ReplyDeleteI often work from home and am guilty of all these things. I find myself sitting at my desk in my PJs past noon and start feeling gross and take a "lunch break" to hop in the shower. But I have to admit I often just dress in yoga pants or sweats afterwards!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started working at home, I found it hard to let the phone go to the answering machine..lol...now, I hardly hear it!
ReplyDeleteSarah - I agree! There is nothing better than working in comfy yoga pants!
ReplyDeletePinktaz - If I working from more more often, I would probably have to make some changes or create a more defined space.
It's so easy to get lazy about fixing yourself up when you are home all the time, I worked for 30 years & had to quit my job due to illness, & some days it's hard to even get dressed, but I try to stay on top of it.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn - If I worked from home all the time, I bet I would become even worse. I feel like I am already pretty bad when I work from home.
