I thought the same thing! Disgusting! If it means that I don't buy lemons, then I won't. I had to pass on the clementines today because it was the same brand and same chemicals.
Wow, that is crazy!! I never would have read the label on a bag of lemons... you just figure they are fresh fruit, right? Now it makes me wonder about all the UNbagged fruit.
Tmuffin - When I was at Whole Foods this morning, I kept looking at the orange and the apples and the pears wondering the same thing. I am going to research to understand if organic fruit is "treated" the same way or not.
I Thought I Knew Mama - I agree! I saved the bag and will bring it with me next time along with the remaining lemons. Either way, I want to know why Whole Foods permits those citrus products in their store.
So glad I found u through the hop - I'm into organics and healthy eating...who would of thought all of those chemicals on lemons? Makes u wonder what's on the fruit that's not labeled...

Wow, and who knows what's on the fruit that's NOT labeled? I used to always assume that all the produce at Whole Foods was organic and then I realized that wasn't the case!
Jenny, Ohkeeka - great thought about the unlabeled produce. I just hope that buying organic will reduce our exposure to whatever chemicals are sprayed.
Sadly, Whole Foods is not 100% organic, but I thought they were at least 100% natural based on their mission statement. I will have to pay even closer attention now!

Omg that is sick that they would do that to lemons.

Yikes! You should ask the people at the Whole Foods service desk and see what kind of explanation they give!
Thanks for linking up!
