Happy Easter to you too! Instead of a basket that MIGHT be saved and used only once a year, I chose something that I know will be used throughout the year, not only by my toddler but also by my older children who are 24 and 19 years old. Yes, they too get Easter baskets filled with goodies :) One got a resuable lunch bag, one a market tote and the other got a steel watering can. All were stuffed with goodies-not only sweets but wooden eggs, but also hardboiled eggs dyed naturally and items they will actually use instead of throwing away.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter too! We didn't do anything special to celebrate since our families are so far--I guess that's pretty eco-friendly, huh? ;)
