OraMD Natural Breath Spray [Review + Giveaway]

Not only do I focus on natural and organic beauty products, but I am also very careful about the products that I use to brush and clean my teeth. Many name brand toothpastes and breath fresheners claim to be healthy for teeth, but when I researched the ingredients, I decided that the ingredients were too toxic for my liking. When I need to freshen my breath on the go, I use OraMD Breath Spray, a 100% natural breath spray made with 100% oils and proven to kill mouth bacteria.

Long lasting minty taste

Portable glass bottle

OraMD Breath Spray is a natural breath spray in a compact, portable glass bottle. The glass is dark amber color, which protects the botanical oils. The top is a plastic sprayer with a cap. The bottle is small enough to keep in my purse's cosmetics bag or store inside my car's center console. The sprayer is easy to use and easy to push down to release the spray. The bottle contains 0.17 oz of liquid, which is about 60 sprays.

Let's talk about the ingredients. It is very important to me to have 100% natural ingredients. And by natural, I meant actually natural ingredients. Ingredients that I can pronounce and I know what they are. Basically, my test is - can I recreate this product myself if I were to purchase the ingredients and mix them.

OraMD Breath Spray Ingredients:
100% pure botanical oils of Almond, Spearmint and Peppermint.

The almond oil is a carrier oil for the spearmint and peppermint oils. Essential oils should always be diluted, especially for topical application. Spraying undiluted spearmint and peppermint oils in your mouth can cause burns and sensitization, so I am glad that this breath spray is diluted.

Usage: Recommended for ages 13 and older. Shake and spray once in the mouth. Use as needed. OraMD Breath is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding because mint is contraindicated.

Results: For the first use, you have to prime the pump. The first spray resulted in about 50% of the actual amount of the breath spray, so I sprayed again for a full strength spray. Wow! My mouth was on fire. At 1.5 times the recommended dose, the strength was too strong. Stay with one spray because that is all you need! I have been using the breath spray about every 1-2 days as needed. I have really enjoyed the fresh feeling and the taste. I love spearmint and peppermint flavors and thus, I love this spray. My husband has also been using it and has really liked OraMD breath spray. Sometimes, I even use the spray for an energy boost because mint is known to energize.

One of my favorite times to use OraMD breath spray is after drinking coffee to avoid coffee breath. I also like to use the spray if I meeting another mom and child for a play date or I have a photography client meeting. I have really enjoyed this spray and love that it is made with all natural ingredients.

OraMD Breath Spray is effective in freshening breath and keeping bad bacteria at bay through spearmint and peppermint oils. Give it a try!
